Amy Reynolds is a partner of Gap Logistics, LLC and CEO of G and A Trucking. Prior to this Amy worked with some of the best companies in the industry. With 20+ years in transportation, she had the pleasure of starting her career with Walmart Private Fleet, moving to JB Hunt Corporate and finally Hogan Dedicated. The years devoted to these companies as a General Transportation Manager helped educate her in all aspects of the business. She has fostered long lasting relationships and developed skills to be a successful leader in both her companies today. Amy is the mother of 2 ambitious sons and they enjoy concerts, water parks and going to see movies together. Amy holds a degree in Business Management and Accounting.
Robin Hunt prides herself on her outstanding customer service and this high level of customer service has set the standard for GAP Logistics. Working in customer service all her life, she takes the time to understand her customers needs so she can provide effective solutions. Robin joined the transportation industry after being employed by FedEx Office for 15 years, where she worked her way up to Center Manager in Des Moines, IA. She and her family now live in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains where they enjoy the outdoors fishing, hiking and camping. Robin also loves music and can often be found singing or playing her guitar.
Braden Weers worked with Whole Foods Market for 15 years as a Global Produce Buyer and in the seafood department. He then worked 3 years as a Produce Senior Merchant with Sam's Club. He knows what customers expect and goes above and beyond to insure those expectations are met. He is a native Texan. He, his wife, and 2 children live on a small farm where they enjoy learning about the outdoors, environmental stewardship, and providing what they can for themselves. Braden earned an Associate's degree in culinary arts and loves sharing amazing meals with friends and family.
Carla Lewis began her career in the transportation industry over 27 years ago as one of the few women in the industry operating trucks. During this time she pulled reefers, dry vans, flatbeds, bottom dumps and roll-off trucks, a true Jane of all trades. Over the years, Carla drove for various companies doing both local work in Southern California and as an OTR driver, earning her awards with JB Hunt for 1 million and 2 million miles.
Carla continued her career in transportation as part of the Transportation Management Team with Wal-Mart for the last 20 years. Here she managed the private fleet dispatching outbound for regional and high volume DCs, and prioritized backhauls for the inbound.
Now, Carla is sharing her knowledge and experience with the GAP team and learning yet another aspect of the transportation industry.
Carla enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends. She is looking forward to exploring Michigan, her new home state. .
